2002 American Silver Eagle 
 
The 2002 Silver Eagle (Buy on eBay) showed an increased mintage from the prior year by over 1.5 million. This brought the total above the 10 million mark for the first time in fifteen years. This would prove to be a temporary peak, as the mintage did not reattain the mark for another four years. Sales of the collectible 2002 Proof Silver Eagle (Buy on eBay) began at the US Mint on June 5, 2002. The coins were limited to a maximum authorized mintage of 750,000 and priced at $24.00 per coin. Once again regular production for Proof Silver Eagles took place at the West Point Mint with coins bearing the “W” mint mark. For the first time in several years, the Mint did not sell out of the full authorized mintage. The final sales tally for the coin was 647,342. Certified coin collectors will find a larger number of perfect graded proof coins in both NGC PF 70 Ultra Cameo and PCGS PR70DCAM. Perfect graded bullion coins are readily available in NGC MS 70, but more scarce in PCGS holders. The overall average price of silver during 2002 was $4.60 per ounce.     We pride ourselves on prompt delivery. If a coin is purchased on the website or over the phone and PayPal is the payment method, we will make every effort to send it the following day. Exceptions to this will be when we are at a show, in which case the coin(s) will ship when we return to the office. If check or money order is the payment method, we will deposit the check/money order and ship once payment has cleared.
    All of our shipments are USPS Priority mail or FedEx (depending on value). Signature confirmation is required for packages valued at $250 or above. We believe this is the best way to protect all parties from lost or stolen packages. Of course all packages are insured for the full purchase price. Tracking information will also be provided.
    Returns
    All coins we sell come with a no questions asked 30 day return privilege. We simply ask you let us know if a coin is being returned before the thirty days have expired. The last thing we want is someone to be unhappy with a coin purchase and will gladly issue a prompt refund once the coin is  returned in its original holder and condition.
