The 1884-O Morgan Dollar is counted amongst one of the most widely available issues of the series. Collectors can acquire examples in grades ranging from circulated to gem at affordable price levels. As typical, coins with Proof Like or Deep Mirror Proof Like surfaces will command a premium.
The total mintage for this issue reached 9,730,000, which was the highest production for the New Orleans Mint to date. A portion of these coins were released for circulation around the time of issue, some pieces in storage were melted, but still others remained in Treasury vaults and were released in later years to provide an ample supply of uncirculated examples for collectors.
Striking quality and luster can vary for this issue. Since there are many coins available for any given grade level, care should be used in selecting the piece with the best eye appeal.

      We pride ourselves on prompt delivery. If a coin is purchased on the website or over the phone and PayPal is the payment method, we will make every effort to send it the following day. Exceptions to this will be when we are at a show, in which case the coin(s) will ship when we return to the office. If check or money order is the payment method, we will deposit the check/money order and ship once payment has cleared.
      All of our shipments are USPS Priority mail or FedEx (depending on value). Signature confirmation is required for packages valued at $250 or above. We believe this is the best way to protect all parties from lost or stolen packages. Of course all packages are insured for the full purchase price. Tracking information will also be provided.
      Returns
      All coins we sell come with a no questions asked 30 day return privilege. We simply ask you let us know if a coin is being returned before the thirty days have expired. The last thing we want is someone to be unhappy with a coin purchase and will gladly issue a prompt refund once the coin is  returned in its original holder and condition.
      On a related note, if there is a coin you are upgrading and originally purchased from us, we are always elated to buy back the duplicate coin based upon current market value. Please contact us for further details.
